Rippled sandstone from the base of the Wickiup.

This picture is by former SP member WasatchVoyage; he transferred it to me before leaving SP in order to keep the Wickiup page (which he created) intact. This rippled sandstone was formed during the early Triassic time, 225-180 million years ago. Slabs of this rock can be found all over the flanks of the Wickiup.
