Rissuolo gates
The entrance to Rissuolo Valley.
From Carestia hut, along the normal route to Corno Bianco. Valsesia. Italy.
This picture was taken on a frozen morning of October, the water fall of Rio rissuolo was iced, the air was metallic.
I love that feeling of 'General winter is about to close all the gates'.
