Re: Recent work!

I had no idea what to make of this drawing before. You know something? You made me think about this a little harder, and I think I know what it is now. This, well, let's call it a duck, is on a rock next to a pool of water next to the trail. I think when the water level gets just high enough to reach the underside of the duck, it will look like it's swimming on top of the water. That's got to be the reason for the drawing.

Re: looks like a snake to me...

Well, it does have a long tail, mmm..., a coiled sake, may be. Well, if it is a snake, then my theory about the water level and the duck thing goes out the window. Another thought, I've never seen a duck in this area, but rattlesnakes, we a have a ton.

Re: looks like a snake to me...

...hmmm... could it be a warnig?...
... thus the forked tongue, and the shake marks on both sides of the tail...
... looks like a coiled snake to me...
... a warning sign was actually my first thought...

Ahhhh, I hadn't even seen the shake marks on both sides of the tail. I think, you've got it right, Roxy.
