Rock Sword Fern (Polystichum scopulinum)
Rock sword fern is found on cliffs and rocky areas generally at high elevations near timberline from B.C. to southern California and east to western Montana and Utah. It is also disjunct in Quebec. Photo from the Lakes Basin in the Wallowa Mountains of Oregon. September 1997
