Thanks Alpinist! I did some searching and could find no prohibitions on rock climbing in the Boundary Waters on the BWCA site. Other sites mention rock climbing there but stress it is a wilderness area and is leave no trace (so no chalk or bolts etc). I, however, am not knowledgeable and welcome what anyone might find out.
