Route Overview

The Mile Creek Trail ascends from the left to the saddle on the main ridge at center-left. Here it meets the west loop of the Targhee Creek trail that ascends the drainage from the right-center and goes up the right or east side of the divide to the high Targhee Pass at the upper left. From there its an easy ascent to the summit of Targhee Peak at the upper center. The high mountain in the upper-right distance is Bald Mountain. June 2009
