I'd love to do Mt. Kaweah! It's in my comfort zone, though it would be a long, hard slog from the Chagoopa Plateau. I'm surprised how rocky the summit is--thought it would be smoother. Despite the class 1 rating, I'll bet that 3000 ft. descent would do a number on one's leg muscles!

It is fairly tough climb and yes you will be feeling it!
