| Great winter hike with a swell view of Tahoe. Enjoyed the summit blocks, which had just enough snow on them to make it a little more interesting. Cold day... never got above freezing. | |

| 5hrs RT with MaiAnh. Snowy terrain entire way. Amazing lake views starting from the TH. Carried ax/snowshoes but didn't use them. Our attempts to avoid walking on ski tracks proved futile as a later group of snowshoers obliterated them. | |

| What a great hike, tougher than expected. Better Tahoe views than Tallac. But the summit block is not class 2, very much a 3 with about a 4 foot wide knife ridge to summit with exposure to the south. Only 2 hours for the roundtrip. | |

| Tried this 2 weeks ago and got stopped out by snow about a quarter mile from the summit. Went up again today and was successful. Only patchy snow left up there. Summited from the back side. Pics are here. 10 down on the OGUL list. | |
