Took the 7 bridges trail to trail 720. Skirted around the sandy slope in the grass to the right. Can see how this gets its name... descending that sandy/scree slope was FAST!!

Hiked in from seven bridges,to jones park. Took trail 720, then bushwacked thru 1' of snow to the base of the mountain. Took a different way back via,bear creek to buckhorn trail, and down the gully, back to the car. 6 hours
Only passed about 6 people, all day!! GREAT VIEWS!!

Came up from the Gold Camp Rd. TH in N.Cheyenne Cañon, through Jones Park, and up the east side. Significant snow still in the trees near the top.

With the exception of one dirt-biker early in the morning, my dog and I had this route completely to ourselves all day. Amazing, when you consider how close to town this is! Spent an hour on the summit just enjoying the solitude and quiet, eating and day-dreaming.

Great hike from Frosty's Park
My son and I spent a great half day hiking to the base of the peak and then scrambling the last 600 feet to the summit. Great views, really nice little peak.
