Re: Seen that a few times!Ahhh the Cloudripper trip was actually way back in July 2011. Time flies. I didn't make it this far up the Bishop Pass Trail back then. This was in June 2012 on a trip with Goode and Johnson. Took me a long time to get to Agassiz considering how popular it seems to be.
Thanks for the comment BIADH.

Re: Seen that a few times!Actually funny you mention it, but I almost collapsed on that trip, nearly couldn't make it back to camp. I wondered if it was a freak altitude occurence or someting, or maybe a blood sugar thing. Took me forever to get back to camp. Over an hour the last mile on flat terrain, several hours from Johnson Peak. I have no idea what happened, and not anything like it since. Ah the mystery of the mountains!

Sweet...picture! I love massive granite peaks and alpine lakes. I profess, I have a complete lack of knowledge of California.
Seems a lot like Colorado...you could spend a lifetime there climbing & treking and still not get to everything.
Great shot, Chad!

Re: Sweet...Yeah I still have lots to do. Actually I don't know too much about CO either. Never climbed a peak there at least. But perhaps a lot of similarities.
But in CA we don't have nearly so many thunderstorms. I can't even count the number of summits I have from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. And always waking up after sunrise!
Thanks Kiefer!
Chad
