Vern, Jim, Ellen and I on pause on Corkscrew Pass during a rest and jeeping day between climbs of Mount Sneffels, Matterhorn and Wetterhorn Peaks. Vern was real good about coming down to visit us in Colorado. It was time for us to reciprocate and travel north and allow Vern the opportunity to show us what had drawn him away from Colorado.
