Great page - I grew up in Tucson and lived there for 21 years and there are so many peaks that I just failed to climb - everytime I go home for a visit I have a new one to add to the list - this is one of them Thanks for posting it, cheers - jeff
Tucson-area mountain bikers have been working this fall to clear and mark the Samaniego Ridge Trail and it is in better shape than it has been in years. I didn't hit Samaniego Peak, but hiked the length of the Ridge Trail. here's a link to pictures and video of the trailwork:
