The first mountain climbed on a 2-day backpacking trip. There was quite a bit more snow than I had anticipated which made for two days of going from dawn to dusk nonstop.

HPS Big 4 day hike
Long 44.5 mile day hike starting at 2:30 AM and ending just after 8PM. Samon was the first of the four peaks on the route. This was the coolest peak because of the cross-country approach but don't save it for the dark because it's easy to stray off the correct course.
