Sangre de Cristos

The view of the Sangres' spine south from summit of Hunts Peak. The view extends all the way to Blanca Peak (on the far right) 61 miles away! The nearest ridge in the picture is the one that lies southeast of Hunts Lake, and it looks like it would be a rugged mountaineering challenge. January 14, 2006
