Great looking area, bet you get some top weather out in Santa Barbara too!
I'm thinking of taking a month long trip around the Western States next summer (if I can afford it...) so will be spending a lot of time pouring over your pages over the next few months - please keep 'em coming, I need ideas!

Thank you very much for the compliment, Dan. A tour of the west coast for a climber should definitely include Joshua Tree and Yosemite. If you are into sport climbing, I can recommend some incredible areas to include. When your trip gets closer, let me know for several great recommendations.

Thanks Marc, Joshua and Yosemite are definitely on the hit list. I was also looking to hit a peak or two, Whitney maybe, since I’ve heard it’s quite straight forward; depends if I’ve got room for all my alpine gear too. Early stages yet though… I may not even get there. Fingers crossed!
Yes, we are very lucky to have so many rock formations and boulders in out area. I wish the quality of the rocks was better, but we'll take what we get.
