We started at the upper trailhead. It was easy to get to in my four wheel drive Tacoma but it could be a problem in a lesser vehicle. The kids and I made it up and back in under 5 hours. That included hanging out in the rock chairs at the false summit and eating Ritz Bits. The fresh snow and ice slowed us down a little near the top. Good times.
