Counting the leaves which tremble at dawn.
Novices lean on each other in yearning,
Under the leaves the swallow is resting.
Set the controls for the heart of the sun..."

YES, take a rest with a good Scotch whiskey, gentlemen! : ))

A celebratery dram is heading my way Larry, with some Pink Floyd tunes to wash it down with.

Looks like...

a huge effort, but I like what you've already built here. Please go on, this could be one of those really important pages on SP!

Re: Looks like...

We used this template for putting together the Grampins A&R page and weree then contemplating doing the North West Highlands, however we decided our depth of knowledge of the area is not yet up to scratch, so it is currently on hold for now. Hopefully we'll be able to do something as useful as the Grampians page in the not to distant future. Thanks for the words of encouragement though.
Cheers,
Stephen

Re: Looks like...

Hi Stephen and all
Fantastic work that you have done on the Grampians. Noted that you have become stalled on the far NW - but not surprised - its huge! Just wanted to say (for what it is worth) I am putting the finishing touches to a page for Glen Affric Range, which I hope to post by the end of coming weekend. Naturally images (and more on request) available for your project should you choose to re-activate it. In next couple of years I hope to be visiting a few more areas in the far NW, probably starting with Torridon so you can keep me in mind as a possible future contributor to your page if I can help.
Best wishes Mark

Re: Looks like...

Hi Mark,
Thanks......seems such a long time ago now.....oh, it actually was a long time ago! :D
I've added you onto the page with admin rights, so you can contribute to the page at your leisure.
I'll keep an eye out for the Glen Affric page, its a beautiful part of the country. I've got a few low level pictures from earlier this year that I'll add.
Cheers,
Stephen

Thanks Stephen - I am honored! I will do my best to add a few pieces to the jigsaw puzzle... starting with Glen Affric.

Re: Looks like...

Hello again Stephen - the Glen Affric page is posted! I'd be very pleased if you could spare some moments to cast an eye over it - as one of the resident experts on Scotland. And by all means add some pictures - there are precious few of the area, outside of the ones I have added (rgg had some of Sgurr nan Ceathreamhnan but that is about all) Best wishes Mark
