Selway Canyon

This is looking east up the massive Selway Canyon from the summit of Fog Mountain. The Selway River is famous for whitewater and cutthroat trout. Everything in this view (except the immediate foreground) is in the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness. The highest peaks barely visible on the horizon are the Montana Bitterroots. The high point to the distant right is El Capitan. June 2007
