Helluva page! Lots of information for someone such as myself who has never been to the area. I will most definately be using this page as a reference. Not only for a guide in the Selway Crags area, but also as a template of a well made page! Good job!
Thanks for your kind words. If you make it up to the area, I hope you can add some info to the page. There is still a lot of ground up there that I have not seen.
Great read, very educational, and just reaffirms my desire to visit. You probably just quintupled the sum total of beta available for the area. Nice work mrh!
After having enjoyed these mountians since the early eighties, it is sad to see them "discovered". North Three Links is my favorite place in the world. During a trip in the summer of 99, I made a mistake and broke my leg in the chute that drops into South Three Links from Legend. It took 7 days to walk out via Jesse Pass, and the west ridge of Canteen Flats. While beautiful, this country is not to be taken lightly.
Damn, sounds like a good trip report. Why didn't you just head back on the ridge from Legend to Big Fog. It would have been shorter and with the exception of getting out of the chute, flater. Were you alone?
