June 18, 2009 The big peak in the middle is Shah Alborz 4125 m. To the left of it:Saal Barf 4065 m. The distant peak on the right is probably Saat 4003. The giant 4850 m Alam Kooh is barely visible on the left in the far distance. Looking east from the summit of Siah Darreh

Snow...

your photos for this peak make it seem as if 2009 was a much better year for snow than some of the previous years you posted.

Although winter 2009 was very mild, spring turned out to be quite wet and cold (well, I did not live there but from what I heard in June or read/saw on the internet...)
