I'm really enjoying your submissions from this area! Did you happen to make it out to Bear Point? I've been looking into places with good potential for photographs of the Main Salmon canyon (top-to-bottom, more or less), and Bear Point and its ridges are on my short list. Maybe I can give it a go this summer.
I didn't make it out to Bear Point. It looks like a great place to get Main Salmon shots. Its a long hike, but the grade is freindly. Hope you make it. I'll look forward to the photos if you do. Have you been to Vista Point on the road to Whitewater Ranch? Pretty good top to bottom view of the Salmon there.
No, the vast majority of my views of the Frank Church have been from the rivers up, guiding rafting trips. But I've more recently become interested in exploring the higher country above the canyons.
