| Great views into the Sawtooths from this hike. Tried to make the most of the long drive. Started with Wolf Mtn, which was very cool, and then climbed Silver and Shephard. Here's a trip report with photos. | |

| This is a really great area that has a good mix of remoteness and accessibility. The drive is tough in a few places but it is well worth the effort to get there. Zach and I didn't even leave Boise til about 1 PM and we still made it to the summit and back to the truck before dark. We also included Silver Mountain as a bonus peak. It was a great 2 peak afternoon with great views! | |
