Sherman Peak (10,160+ ft)...
Sherman Peak (10,160+ ft) through the west gap of Sherman Crater on June 25, 2000. "Pooch Peak" is the crag at right (has anyone climbed this crag?). Glacier Peak can be seen through the notch between Sherman and Pooch.

The pooch seems more like the hound of the Ba(s)kervilles!

Can't remember climbing Pooch, but have been right under it (on the way to Sherman) several times. Didn't look too difficult just rotten. Eric may remember doing it.

Yeah, the rottenness would be the major deterrent against climbing it, as in "why the hell am I even climbing this P.O.S?" while sketched out halfway up a dicey wall or a crumbly crest.

And, yet, it looks like there's not much exposed rock to climb if you come at it from the east end from Sherman Peak:

Hi Paul, I've figured out how to link this photo to the Squak Glacier route. I did notice that the elevation you show for Sherman Peak is shy, by my count it is closer to 10,140'. Let me know if I'm wrong, Thanks.

Thanks for the notification on the incorrect elevation. What is funny is that 8,204 ft (the old value I had up there) is the height of the Sherman Peak in the Pasayten. Must have been one of those "see one thing, type another" situations.
