Shields Lake Washington

Before I got into truly peakbagging, I was a backpacker who loved to fish in the high mountain lakes of Washington. Shields Lake was always good for fishing success and lots of mosquitoes. This pic lost a lot when it got scanned from the original slide but there was a time in my life when I wore stupid shirts and a stupid smile. 1974 pic
