How's things

goin' in your neck of the woods?
Do you ever have a "wildfire danger"
out there in the Black Balsam region,
or is it just Florida's Everglades
catching the brunt of it?? Looks like
some nice territory to scout around in.
Do you ever run into Black bears in the
Black Balsam region? Take care, StarMan.

Re: How's things

Occasionally widfires affect our mountian regions... in fact I have witnessed one in this very area back in Jan. 2007 near Black Balsam. The Shining Rock area is one of the most beautiful areas of the NC mountains. No, I've yet to personally see a bear anywhere in the Southeast, though they are certainly out there! Cheers.
