Nice series of photos . . . and great job at leading that climb. Looks like a very good route. And, you have to love the fact that there is a sign pointing to the rap. How was the road in? We had heard rumors that it was closed?

Re: Nice series of photosThank you very much Natasha.
Very enjoyable route. You guys should give it a shot: nice easy approach (compared to Dreamer - 30-45 minutes on a good trail), great pro on majority of this route, and fun fun climbing! Highly recommend it!
Yeah, heard rummors that they (FS) were going to stop maintaining this road. For now it's still in great shape (did not go as far as Green Giant TH though).
Heard you guys hit some wet weather up in BC but still managed to get some major miles on the kayaks. Sorry to hear about the rain (I know firsthand how much it sucks when it rains on your weeklong vacation..)
take care

Road still ok in 2012The rumours must have been false. Drove in on June 9, 2012 and the road was pretty good.

Re: Road still ok in 2012I think there must've been 3 or 4 cycles of washouts/fixes since 2005...I've heard it's in its good shape phase now.
