Sight for sore eyes !!!

When my wife and I were headed back to Payson, AZ, via Highway 487 or the Mormon Lake road, we were met with an amazing sight! There was actually water in Lower Lake Mary, as well as Upper Lake Mary. I felt like hopping around like an amphibian, but I did the next best thing and snapped a photo of the lake for Summitpost; showing a lone pine tree surveying a water-logged scene. Upper Lake Mary is a long and narrow lake that is popular with power boaters and water skiers. But you'll also see sailboats, kayaks, canoes and even rubber rafts. At an elevation of about 7,000 feet, the summer temps rarely reach the 90-degree(F) range. The lake was named after Mary Riordan, a member of one of Flagstaff's founding families. Fishing here is a blast. The main attraction is Northern Pike which can get quite large with razor- sharp teeth. You'll also catch Rainbow trout, yellow bass, channel catfish, sunfish and an occasional walleye. We noticed a lot of people lining the banks to fish. Please arrive early, and don't forget the Snicker Bars! April 6, 2008

It looks like...

there is a warm breeze which undulates the waters of the lake.
I'd like to spend some months roaming throughout the states and Canada, maybe from Arizone till Alaska, climb some summit, maybe some free-ride and ski mountaineering on the powder of Colorado, I have seen so much photos!!
Ok, when I will be reach ;-)

Re: It looks like...

Marco, you and all your friends are welcome
here anytime. At the moment, America's
economy seems to be falling into a bucket
with a large hole in it. Looks like we'll
be getting a new leader very soon. Hope
they will be a good one - I most certainly
have my fingers crossed for good luck.

Actually, there was a very COLD breeze
blowing at this mountain lake. Do you see
my wife in the picture? You can't see her!
WHY - because, she's inside the automobile
staying warm. Rubbing her hands together!!!

I want to come to southern and northern
Italy. Can we change places, please?
GRACIE. I must study my Italian language!

Re: It looks like...

Larry don't come to iItaly to find a good economical situation!! Our economy is skinking down and down and down and...More over if you like great open spaces I would suggest you to do not forget central Italy and especially Abruzzo!
I gave for sure it was a warm day on this photo, I was enjoyng the thought of lay down on that grass and let the sound of the waves make its hypnotic job!

Re: It looks like...

Give it two more months. In June, you will
find the warm daytime breezes. You can
contemplate the shimmering water, with a
bottle of wine by your side. Ciao, Larry :)
