Hiked the short version of the trail by returning to Meneka peak trail along the ridge. Trail was easy to follow, no one else was on the trail. Saw a timber rattler and two copperheads but no other interesting wildlife probably due to the pace, only stopped for a few picture/water breaks, started at 6p after work and was back to the car at 10p.

Good training trailStarted too late in the day so we turned around a mile shy of the knob. Will go back to train for future backpacking trip coming up.
