Loved the views  Sucess!

Beautiful peak to climb, we climbed it using Forest Road 3N36, resulting in 2,300' gain.

SR18  Sucess!

I found the HPS directions kind of confusing at the beginning so I just headed cross country to the mine. From there, its a pretty straightforward climb up the somewhat loose slope to the ridge and on to the summit. Nice views from the top. Snowshoed up Crafts and Butler afterwards.

Nice view...  Sucess!

...of Big Bear and the surrounding peaks. Cool day but I bet it blows in the summer. Did Gold Mountain after.

Great day  Sucess!

Climbed with my Dad and Missy(dog). A nice climb to the top, and cool temps. Climbed Gold Mountain after.

From SR18  Sucess!

I thought this was a fairly lame peak - even for an HPS one. Trip Report

Where Do I Begin?  Sucess!

Theron's Bach. Party. In all honesty, a beautiful summit, but I hated every minute of it. Lost another favorite beanie to this mountain. It was hot, I was dehydrated and out of shape, when am I not out of shape, but for some reason I keep hiking. F this wanna be desert peak and F Theron Moon for being a bitch.

Made lazy hungover friends hike this hot desert peak! I loved this mountain! Junipers were insane as was the sand food.
