| we started our ruote from Similaun hütte. It was a pleasant walking to the glacier, and the first part of it also. But as we get higher, the wind started to blow harder and harder. At the end the fog and the cloud covered almost everything. We didn't see anything from the top. | |

| Climbed from Similaun Hütte, and vent back to Vent on that day. My father, brother, a friend of mine and I were the company. It was our first glacier tour. We met a lot of nice person on the route...and the girls at Similaun Hütte... Fast wind and cold on the peak...no view... | |

| Snowshoeing from Martin Busch hut, 6hrs to the top, 2hrs back to hut and 2hrs more back to Vent. We had a wonderful day with crystalclear views from the summit. Lots of wind from the South which was a bit scary on the summitridge. Freezing temperatures up to - 30°C. Enjoying the newyears eve fireworks driving through Germany back to Belgium, after the climb. Climbed with my friend Mathias and his girlfriend Veerle. | |

| My older daughter and I got to the Similaun hut the previous evening, to enjoy some nice young and old austrian fellow mountaineers, as well as ....delicious Kaiserschmarren !.... Reason for which I was alone to wake up on the next day. We were only five guys on the summit that sunny morning, and I was obviously the younger one !!! Come on....it's not a mountain only fit for fogeys, is it....??? :-))) But so pleasant anyway, and the surroundings are magic. | ||

| I climbed this peak on a beautiful cool sunny morning. It is neither difficult nor far from the Similaun Hut from which I started. Because it was a weekend, many other people had the same idea. Even so it was a worthwhile climb. | |

| We climbed Similaun during an "Ice Course" of DAV section "Schwaben" from Martin-Busch-Hütte. It's quite easy (hiking trail on snow :-), only the last few meters are very steep. Nevertheless I panted like an old steam engine! | |

| Yes - we really were on two following days on the summit. On the 1st day we went to the top because we thought that the weather will be bad next day - It wasn't so we climbed up again from the similaun hut ;) | |

| a nice mountain. i climbed it from similaunhutte, takes about two hours. two parts of rope going, and a short piece of walking with cramps, and a nice summit with beautiful weather. | ||

| Last ski-tour in the season. Required carrying the skis almost all the way up to the hut, walking in skishoes. We had planned to do the Hintere Schwaerze also, but the weather was bad. It was so foggy, we only saw the summit-cross immediately before we actually reached it. I don't have any idea what the view from up there is like. ;) | |
