Gilpin Peak is an impressive peak in the Yankee Boy Basin. I climbed the peak in mid June of 2011, the year blessed with tons of snow in San Juan Mountains of Colorado.
Peak is named after William Gilpin.

Re: Dang Girl.

Thanks Dan, it was a long day. We did not start until 8:30, and the snow is rapidly melting, about 1 foot per day... Last week was perfect, I am afraid that skiing is getting close to the end.

Thanks Senad. This was a good snow year, and my first winter in Colorado. I love it here!
