A picture is worth a thousand wordsso I'll keep it short. Basically, we hiked in and camped at Snowmass Lake on Saturday, climbed Snowmass Mountain and packed out on Sunday. The sky was blue, the water was cold, the snow was slushy, the slopes were steep, the packs were heavy, and the post-climb burgers and beer in Aspen were ethereal. There is nothing like sitting around a mountain lake dumbstruck for eight hours. I'll be doing more of this. Images
