Some of the oldest rocks

Kessler and Russell Patterson climbing Frary Peak on October 7 2007. The rocks seen are some of the oldest in the world and area dated 2.7 billion years old. That's 1 billion years older than the rocks in the bottom of the Grand Canyon!
