I know only

two other climbers who probably know as much as you do about the Sierras. I'm always seem to be lost in the mountains and have a hard time identifying every mountain from another vantage point.

Thanks Marc! I'm a map freak with a photographic memory, like some "Topocop"! Fact is I never backpack into the back country. So I know very little about the basins and canyons west of the crest. Although if the right opportunity arose I have the gear. Maybe I'll bust out next year.
