South Guardian Angel

South Guardian Angel

The hike to SGA. South Guardian Angel is in the Kolob section of Zion National Park. The peak is 7,073 feet. This is a tough day hike with some intense scrambling. At the end of the day you will be tired!

That's a lonely

looking tree. I bet for every two hikers that South Guardian Angel receives, Zion
Canyon receives 20,000. That's why Autumn is
usually when I visit Zion. If I can withstand the triple digits temperatures in
AZ, then Zion NP is that much enjoyable.

Are you all rested up from your hike?

Re: That's a lonely

Looking at the register at the top of SGA... the canyons gets way, way, way more! Few have ever gone up there or at least signed the register once they made it. I am rested from SGA, but have done many more since! It's just so busy at work in the summer than I have a hard time posting things... but when winter comes again I will catch up!
