fun road
I was having a grand time driving up the road but my wife and son were unnerved by the exposure so we parked and hike the last 300 feet or so. The mountain is just a big pile of rocks but the lookout perched up there is pretty impressive. Pretty sure it is the highest lookout in the state. Great views for sure

Nice evening views
Drove 4Runner up to about 9,400 feet at which point exposure forced me to park. Sign said "park here". Then walked road last 1.5 miles/900 ft to permanently manned lookout on top. Did in evening so it provided very nice views of surrounding ranges in a different light.

Nice Walk
The road to the top is terrible for vehicles but great for hikers. A very pleasant walk with great views in every direction.
