Route Overview/Description

From Aichele Lake, head SW toward the ridge. There are two "low" spots on the ridge. The southernmost low spot is the easiest way up, but the other low spot offers a really neat cave/chimney access to the ridge (note: this will require a little bit of easy rock climbing).

Continue to follow the ridge along low angle talus toward the summit. There are a couple of rocky prominences one will have to skirt West around. The summit sits just above a very flat, grassy saddle (camping spot for the brave?) Total distance from Aichele lake is about .5 miles over 1050'.

Essential Gear

No technical climbing is involved with this peak, but be prepared for a long day. Pack plenty of food, water, and sunscreen, as you would for any other extensive day/overnight hike.

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
