Approach


Park at Hoffman Summit, a narrow saddle at the base of the ridge, along the Jawbone Canyon Road. This saddle is on the divide between Jawbone Canyon and Kelso Valley.

Route Description


Hike and scramble directly up the ridge to the summit. Mostly, this is a class 1-2 sand slog, with some boulder hopping, and long sections of fun class 2-3 rock directly on the crest.
