Approach
Gain the SE most extremity of Dinwoody Glacier to reach the high col (Backpackers 'Pass') between Sunbeam and Turret.
Route Description
From Backpackers Col, the ridge is followed to the summit except for several gendarmes which must be bypassed at Class 4. The route can be downclimbed on traverse from Blaurock Pass to Backpackers Col or vice versa.

Wilderness backpacking gear, glacier crossing gear, axe and crampons for 800' couloir leading to col.
