Spring Canyon Ridge

Spring Canyon Ridge, 6,777 feet, seen from the southwest. This rugged ridgeline, with a brownish red color, isn't named on maps. I like to call it this because of its location above Spring Canyon seen in the photo.

slope angle

That is quite a steep drop-off from the photographer's position down to the road below. The light dusting of snow makes all the difference. Fine image. slowbutsteady

Thanks! The view down this side of the mountain did seem steep especially when covered in snow. There's a dirt road in the canyon below but I'm not sure if it's traveled that much.
