| Boriss Andean | True and False summit. ![]() Date Climbed: Dec 5, 2010 | |
| Climbed with Rob (HOL) to the true summit (4,230 m/13,878 ft). It took us 2 and a half hours to do so. We saw the second highest summit to the north of us from the summit, so we hiked and climbed that one too. | ||

| Boriss Andean | Love guinea pigs!! ![]() Date Climbed: Oct 14, 2010 | |
| Climbed with Jorg (GER), Fritz (GER), Efrain (ECU) and Rolando (ECU) in 2 hours. The trailhead at Central Hidroelectrica´s gate was locked, so we drove for 20 more minutes to The farm entrance and then to the Fullfighting ring trailhead. Awesome weather.. and great to hike with the german guys which were funny and friendly. We got back to the truck at 1:30 pm, where we shared our snacks with a friendly donkey. We finished the day in the afternoon with a delicious ginea pig... it was really yummy!!! :) | ||

| It's been exactly a year since I climbed for last time by this route. Andreea (ROM) and I started at 10:30 am from the Amaguaña gas station. We got a quick ride on the back of a pick up truck, we didn't know the driver was totally drunk, it was a supersonic ride!. We got dropped off 4 kms before getting to the hydroelectric plant where we found a nice white doggie who chased us up to the very true summit of Pasochoa (4,230 m/13,878 ft). Andreea an I got there at 1:20 pm.. Nice weather with a few clouds rolling in from time to time. We hitchhiked back to Quito in the back of other truck. | ||

| Started from the hydroelectric plant (3,300 m/10,700 ft) at 10:00 am. It was tough to get to the Trailhead due to construction on the road. Once at the TH we headed straigh up and across farm lands. Continued on the road until the base of the mountain and then I hiked up towards the highest summit (4,230 m/13,878 ft). Easy last scrambles to the top. Spent a few minutes at its top with a couple of friends (Diego and Victor) and then headed down towards the second highest summit to meet with Edgar and his Swiss clients. Nice views of Cotopaxi and surroundings. Got back to the car 10 minutes before a heavy rain approached. Got in the car completely wet. I went back to Quito soon after. | ||
