There is no current guidebook out there that I know of on climbing in the Gore range, even though they are the most jagged range in Colorado outside of the lower San Juans. You could start putting together one. (Or do you leave it remote and special since all the peaks are lower than 14,000')?
...and a ton of great pics! Congrats and thanks for posting.

My favorite range too
That's some strong work you guys did on Powell. Nice to see a Gore TR on the front page of summitpost.

Re: My favorite range too
I know. Its so funny to see all these fantastic reports on international summits and then a Colorado 13er in the Gores thrown in. Hopefully more in the future!
Very nice man. You've been in a place not to many people have been in. I've wanted to run eagles nest ridge for ten years but never got to it yet and I now don't live in summit county or Co anymore. Cliff lake basin looks awesome. Thanks for showing those. The gores are a personal fav of mine as well and have a special place in my heart.
Great stuff, we were on the Eagles Nest - Powell ridge this past Saturday admiring the permanent snowfields on Powell's north face, nice to see a trip report of a climb up there.
Nice line my friend -- I did the Eagles Nest - Powell traverse almost 10 years ago now and it still resonates in my memory (another great link is Grand Traverse and North Traverse Peak, if you've got Gore Madness!) Just as sidenote, Mount Powell is in my book Best Summit Hikes in Colorado and Dave Cooper's Colorado Scrambles has Peak C and I think some other Gore secrets. :)
