Stanley-Burgner Route - South Face Prusik | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
View photo at full res. for best results. Stanley-Burgner route (III 5.9+) on south face of Prusik Peak. Indicated belays are per Nelson and Potterfield guidebook. Route indicated by a blue line only where it's not obvious. As shown, pitches 1 and 2; and 3 and 4 link easily with a 60 meter rope (highlighted with hollow circles marking belays). Pitch 5 can be broken up by belaying atop the indicated chockstone. P5 to P5' indicated moving the belay along the large (exposed) ledge.
