| I rented a city bicycle in Klagenfurt for a week. One morning I left early and then drove up to the Klagenfurter hutte - pretty unseen a rented bike up there - then summited the next day. Beautiful area! | |

| , especially if there is a mountain bike competition to Klagenfurter Hütte. Above the hut we didn't meet too many people but then reallized on the summit that quite a number of routes converge there. Quite crowded even though the summit was almost in the clouds with no real views and very cold temperatures. | |

| I have climbed this mountain 3 times, from the Austrian and Slovenian sides, and it is probably my favourite mountain anywhere in the world. Stunning views in all directions, great huts on either side of the border and even the elusive Edelweiß to make you break into song! | |

| It was late in September 2009, it was the last weekend that the hut was still opened.I slept at Golica hut, and followed the path till Stol.Just under the top, I decided it was still early enough to go down to the Klagenfurter hutte and then back to Stol, the austrian secured path is more interesting and dramatic.Stol really shows two completely different sides.Like someone ripped the mountain apart. | From Valvasor mountain hut we ascended directly to the summit over Žirovniška pot and descended via Prešernova koca hut over Zabreška pot back to Valvasor hut. Nice and easy route. | |

| On the 12th of September 2010 I was for the 7th time on the summit of Hochstuhl (Stol). Ascending via the north face ferrata, descending via the normal route (ascending the summit of Bielschitza on the way back in 2007 and 2009, too). - My first time was at the age of app. 12 years. - 2nd time: 17.08.2003 - 3rd time: 17.07.2004 - 4th time: 16.06.2006 - 5th time: 15.07.2007 - 6th time: 30.07.2009 - 7th time: 12.09.2010 | |

| After a LONG but stunningly beautiful hike from Golica hut to Presernova Koča, climbed the summit the next day before picking up our heavy packs again to continue towards Roblekov Dom via the beautiful Zelenica valley. | |

| Would have truoble finding the way from train station toward Valvasor mountain hut, but luckily a man that was on the same train showed me the way. So hereby thx. This was my first time on the summit of Stol.. beautiful mountain, amazing view.. all in all, a great day. | |

| This time we started in Poden/Bodental, the neighbouring valley, from which we needed to go first to Medji dol / Baerental and then by a nice ferrata to the summit. We descended by gorgeous screes from Vrtaca pass. Otherwise I was 8 times on top, by all usual routes and did also the two usual ski tours from Slovenian side. | |
