| John | Crowded but nice  Date Climbed: Apr 27, 2013 | |
| Short hike to the top made somewhat more interesting by carrying two laptops up in my backpack. Great views of Atlanta if somewhat hazy. The hidden treasure of Stone Mountain Park are the rivers and associated hiking trails on the drive in which I also visited. Some of those secluded hikes are well worth the trip and remind you of what the South was like before cars, roads and buildings. | |

| Yes, it has been commercialized, but I would consider this a must see if you are in Atlanta. My wife and I hiked to the top and it is an incredible formation despite the development. The surrounding parks are also worth seeing and provide room for recreation for the local residents. | |

| Can't remember the exact date but I went up it twice in June of 2003. It was pretty hot but a great time to get out of the city; I was in Atlanta for 5 weeks (business). Didn't even realize this was on summitpost :) | |

| Although it is a nice break from Atlanta, the heated building on the summit quickly reminds you where you are. I would climb it more often if it didn't cost $8 to get in the park. Kennessaw Mountain is just as good for training, and easier on your joints. | |

| Hiked up with the family, to include a 10 and a 6 year old daughter. Even my father climbed it to the shelter below the summit. It was a fun, the weather was overcast, but no rain. Makes my 6 year old daughter's first mountain, along with my older brother's first mountain, with hopefully many more to come. Wish it was a lot taller. But, still fun. | |

| Impressive from the air, and the lit tree is kinda cool-looking at night. Climbed this in no time with hundreds of other people on a sunny and seventy Georgia day. There are several ways to utilize natural resources; this rock has been used for touricide. | |
