A Little About Me
I started rock climbing at age 48 after I learned basic toproping on a plywood wall behind the local outfitting store, AWOL, in Augusta. To celibrate turning 50 years-old a long time friend and I decided to attempt Mt Rainier in June of 2000. We did not summit but learned what we needed to do for the next attempt. In June of 2001 I had a sucessful sumit of Rainier. I have been bitten by the alpine climbing bug!
