Storm Peak's South Face

Storm Peak's rotten south face as seen from the upper west fork of Boulder Gulch. We climbed a scree slope to gain the east ridge to the right of the summit area difficulties. From there it was a nerve-wracking, often exposed scramble over very loose rock to the summit. San Juan Mountains, Colorado. August 2008.
