Thanks! Rubies and East Humboldts definitely provide some surprising alpine variety in the desert

Cool report

Good work. We have lots of long, linear ridges out here in the Appalachians, although at much lower elevations than in Nevada. I really enjoy hiking on them.

Thanks! I cut my teeth for many summers in the Appalachians of NH and Vermont, definitely do miss it sometimes...especially the smell of the woods on a early summer morning. Loved the Shenandoah and the Blue Ridge too, the mountains and valleys down there have such a relaxing feel to them.
