Stream Crossing - Gedney Headwaters

The trail crossing the headwaters of Gedney Creek north of Cove Lakes. In many places the trails are not maintained in the Crags, but fortunately the dense riparian brush had been cut out here. The alder, rose spiraea, honeysuckle and other shrubs can be extremely thick in these upper riparian zones. August 2008
