Nice Phot,

but why the strange name? Are there hydrogen sulphide vents?

9,131' Mount Shuksan is one of the most photographed "non-volcanic" peaks in the Cascade Range.

The "sulphite" name probably derives from it's neighbor Mount Baker, a volcano that is most certainly on the list of volcanoes most
likely to reawaken within the next 50 years.
